The Bauer Nexus N2700 Skates are a great choice for the intermediate-level player looking for a high volume skate. Bauer used their 3D TrueForm Tech PU quarter package that provides an anatomical and comfortable wrap around the foot even with the wide boot dimensions. On top of the foot, the N2700 utilizes a two-piece, 40oz felt tongue with extra padding for extra comfort and protection through the middle. Internally, Bauer used a soft yet durable microfiber liner that helps to keep the foot planted by wicking away moisture. The lowers consist of the Tuuk Edge Holder, the most popular in the NHL, that holds Tuuk stainless steel runners. The Edge Holder features a quick-release trigger system that can swap out broken or damaged steel in seconds, keeping you on the ice and off of the bench.
